Welcome to the INSANITY...er...EXCITEMENT!

- We're proud to welcome our new morning show, Mornings with Brant.

- The new show IS comprised of:
Brant Hansen (funny, intellectual, quirky, talented show host extraordinaire)
Nikki Lane (the Producer and most level-headed of the group. Frankly, we're surprised she agreed to deal with Brant at all)
Pablo (let's cut to the chase - he's Brant's "Yes Man")
Josh Hooper (info guy with everything you need for your day including events, news, weather and more)

- We're still playing the same great music you already love, of course

- Brant has some really fun contests and games in store to help you wake up

- The show, really, is all about you! Your music, your relatinoships, your joys, your fears, your successes and anything else related to YOU!

- We've got a couple of notes for you. First, from Brant:
We can’t wait to be a part of WVMC FM!

On behalf of my friends Nikki and Pablo – you’ll hear them along with me each morning:  We’re excited to be a part (we hope) of your life each morning.

If you’re wondering what to expect from “Mornings with Brant”, think “great music” and then…and it depends on whom you ask.  I would say I offer “brilliant analysis of world events, and award-winning ideas”, but Producer Nikki would say, in love, that I’m just too strange for words.  And she’d say Pablo just makes it worse, because he laughs at me.

All of us share a goal, though:  We want to be real – real about the weird stuff going on in our lives, the things we think are fun, and the stuff that makes up the rest of life – the stuff of relationships.  You’ll hear us talk about everything, but do it – we always hope – through the lens of a God-filled life.  We want to be honest, and honestly seeking God in our off-the-air lives, too.

We’re looking forward to getting to know you!

- And here's a note from Josh:
I can't tell you how much fun I've had over the past four years hosting WVMC Mornings. It has truly been an extraordinary ride. And I'm excited to hand over the reigns of the show to somebody as down-to-earth and talented as Brant. You're going to be in good hands!

But all that isn't to say that I'm leaving! I'll still be a part of the show, but in a much different capacity. I'm going to be the info guy that's got the weather information, local news stories, events and more all designed for you! This change is going to allow me to focus so much more of my attention on my hometown area, and I'll leave all the heavy lifting of running a great show to Brant and the rest of the crew.

Finally, in addition to being the morning show host, I've also been the General Manager of WVMC FM for quite some time. I have a lot of responsibilities beyond the show, and this change is going to free me up during the day to focus on making WVMC FM even better for the future. We have hopes to grow and strengthen our ministry across North Central Ohio, and the rest of my energies will be dedicated to making Your Upeat Family Station the best it can be.
